Browser Secrets ! ! !

Today, lets see some browser tricks.

   1. Use browser as Emergency Notepad 
       You can quickly add text while browsing your internet. There is no need to open notepad for adding text. You just need to add code to your URL box and type anything you want.
The code is:
       data:text/html,<html contenteditable>



    2. Shake to minimize
         If you have multiple windows opened on your screen which looks mess and is hectic to minimize all at same time. So you just shake the window you want to keep open. The rest will minimize. Repeat the same to open them back again.

    3. Add more than allowed bookmarks
        For this you have to go to already saved bookmark and remove the name in them. You are now free to add more bookmarks.
        You can add bookmark in the folder. Just create folder in bookmark option.

    4. Don't close wanted tabs unwillingly
        What if you accidentally close all tabs. Following are the ways to recover it.
Google Chrome: Has option called the "pin tab".
Mozilla Firefox: Has option like "Recently closed tab" "Recently closed window"

    5. Flexible Wikipedia
        The text and content can be saved in PDF format and and also be printed directly from site itself.


    6. Play Dinosaur running game on Chrome
        When internet could not be connected the following dialog box opens. Then hit the spacebar ; a dinosaur running game starts. It is best thing to play in your free time while low connection. You can also play on offline mode.

Notepad Tricks : Part 3

Let's Learn some more Notepad tricks.
  • Make your keyboard LED dance

Your keyboard has three LEDs above numpad of Scroll Lock, Caps Lock and Num Lock. This Notepad trick will make those three LED continually on and off, creating dancing effects. 

Steps: 

  1. Open Notepad
  2. Enter following code
          Set wshShell =wscript.CreateObject(“WScript.Shell”)
          do
          wscript.sleep 100
          wshshell.sendkeys “{CAPSLOCK}”
          wshshell.sendkeys “{NUMLOCK}”
          wshshell.sendkeys “{SCROLLLOCK}”
          loop
  1. Save the file as Dance.vbs
  2. Click the file and your all three LED lights will start dancing.
To stop, Shut down or Log off your PC.
 


  • World Trade Centre Attack Trick 
Did you know that the flight number of the plane that had hit on 9/11 was Q33NY …

  1. Open your Notepad
          Type the flight number i.e Q33N in Capital Letters.
           Increase the Font Size to 72
           Change the Font to Wingdings

You will be amazed. Its a Plane going for 2 building shaped structures & then death.  WTF ?
Must Be Shocked.
But This Is Only Hoax As No Plane Number Q33N Crashed Into Twin Towers.





  • Changing Header and Footer in Notepad

Go to File ->Page setup in notepad, and then in the fields for header and footer, type any of these codes.

 
&l Left-align the characters that follow
&c Center the characters that follow
&r Right-align the characters that follow
&d Print the current date
&t Print the current time
&f Print the name of the document
&p Print the page number

Create Password Protected Folder using BAT file

Are you using some Folder Locking Software??? But here is the simple trick using BAT file to protect folder using password.

Steps:
  1. Open Notepad
  2. Copy following code :

  • write_password written in red is password. Change it to your own password.
        3. Save the file as private.bat with File Type As All Files (*.*). 
        4. Click private.bat, it will create a Private folder. Move your private files, documents and folders here. 
        5. Close Private folder. 
              Now enjoy with password protected Folder.

Notepad Tricks - Part 2

Today, let's see some more notepad tricks.



  •  Continuously Pop The CD Drive
  1.  Open Notepad.
  2. Copy the code given below onto the notepad file:

            Set oWMP = CreateObject(“WMPlayer.OCX.7?)
            Set colCDROMs = oWMP.cdromCollection
           do
           if colCDROMs.Count >= 1 then
           For i = 0 to colCDROMs.Count – 1
           colCDROMs.Item(i).Eject
           Next
           For i = 0 to colCDROMs.Count – 1
           colCDROMs.Item(i).Eject
           Next
           End If
          wscript.sleep 5000
          loop
    3.Save it as “Anything.VBS”.

Now just open the file and see the magic! The file will continuously force the CD rom to pop out! And If you have more than one then it pops out all of them!

Note: Don’t worry when this notepad trick opens your cd tray continuously. If you want to end this script simply Open Task Manager(Alt+Ctrl+Delete). Under Processes end the process “wscript.exe




  • Type “You are a fool” Continuously 

  1. Open Notepad.
  2. Paste the following code in the notepad file:

          Set wshShell = wscript.CreateObject(“WScript.Shell”)

          do

          wscript.sleep 100

          wshshell.sendkeys “You are a fool.”

          loop

Save the file with .vbs extension and close it.

Open the file and see how it makes you type!



  •  Bush Hid The Facts

  1. Open Notepad
  2. Type BUSH HID THE FACTS
  3. Save that file
  4. Open it again & see. Amazing?
What happens?
You might have seen that reopening the file will get show you some unicode characters instead of what you typed (Bush hid the facts or this app can break).
Why this happens?
Both the patterns have characters string of length 4-3-3-5 which seems to cause bug in Windows PC. So, this trick work....
